A 21-year-old was arrested Saturday for his role in a shooting last month that left two people injured, officials said.
Jonathan Cedeno, from Paterson, faces weapons and aggravated assault charges in relation to a shooting in the area of 620 Main Street in Paterson, the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release.
On Nov. 12, two male, Paterson residents, a 21-year-old and 27-year-old, were treated at Saint Joseph's Medical Center for non, life-threatening gunshot wounds.
They both are believed to have been injured in the shooting near Main Street, according to the release.
A detention hearing is scheduled for this week to determine whether Cedeno will be released or remain detained before his trial, Senior Assistant Prosecutor Seth P. Galkin said.
Cedeno was previously arrested on accusations that he was working with a drug ring that that dealt heroin in Paterson. The 4-year-old drug trafficking enterprise was known as the 4K Bloods/Korner Boyz.
