But now there is a new contender, a garment so strangely alluring, you can expect to see it everywhere and soon, according to whimn.com.au.
We present to you, the Ta Ta Towel. Is it a top? Is it just a towel? Who can really tell?
Whatever you want to call it, this invention was created by LA native Erin Robinson, who explains, “I got out of the shower and started getting ready, I could not stop sweating … my tiny A/C unit was broken AND it was the beginning of summer ... While I was blow-drying my hair, I just kept thinking: ‘There HAS to be a better way to keep the beads of sweat from dripping down my stomach.’”
While originally devised as a clever way to deal with under boob sweat while getting ready, the Ta Ta Towel, which costs about $57 and is available up to a size H, has taken on something of a life of it’s own.

Because why just don this, we’re guessing, surprisingly comfy garment in the bathroom, when you could wear it to garden, or cook, or just loll on the couch catching up on The Bachelor?
The testimonials on the website are glowing, to say the least.
“I don’t even have an issue with boob sweat ... I love the Ta-Ta Towel because it’s SO comfortable,” Sonia writes.
“Sometimes I even wear my Ta-Ta Towel around the house when I need a break from bras, sports bras and camisoles. My boyfriend thinks it’s adorable too — and he’s an even tougher critic than I am! I give it four stars,” rhapsodises Christine.
Reader, we’ll be honest: numerous members of team whimn have spent too much time poring over images of the Ta Ta Towel today and we are slightly obsessed. The truth is kind of want one.
And we fully expect to see Gigi and Kendall gadding about New York sipping green juice and wearing Ta Ta Towels in no time.
