Three men arrested on child porn charges; two from Livingston Parish and one from New Iberia

Thursday, 14 September 2017, 01:10:08 AM. Three South Louisiana men — two of them Livingston Parish residents — have been arrested on counts of child pornography, according to Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry.

Three South Louisiana men — two of them Livingston Parish residents — have been arrested on counts of child pornography,  according to Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry.

Jessie Simoneaux, 25, of Denham Springs, was arrested on 15 counts of possession of sexual abuse images and/or videos of children.

Jacob Poche, 24, of Walker, was arrested on one count of possession of sexual abuse images and/or videos of children and one count of video voyeurism.

Simoneaux and Poche were both booked into the Livingston Parish Jail based on an investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation's Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Walker Police Department.

Paul Kleinpeter, 32, of New Iberia, faces 40 counts of possession of sexual abuse images and/or videos of children. He was booked into the Iberia Parish jail based on an investigation by the LBI's Cyber Crime Unit, HSI, the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Landry said in a statement that "every time one of these videos or images is viewed, a child is re-victimized."
